Electro-pop singer Nestor Haddaway was born on January 9, 1965 on the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. Later he moved to Washington, D.C. His first single What Is Love rapidly became popular in the entire world. The song reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1994, worldwide sales of "What Is Love" had already reached 2.6 million. Haddaway has forever been known for the number one hit What Is Love, but what most people don’t know about him is that his entire repertoire contains the best disco hits of typical 90s music.
